Stanford Emergency Medicine offers a range of clinical learning opportunities for medical students, including core and advanced clerkships, visiting student rotations, and programs designed to support students exploring Emergency Medicine as a career.

Clerkships

At Stanford University, students help coordinate all aspects of patient care under the direct supervision of the Emergency Medicine faculty and senior residents.

SCORE Program

Stanford’s SCORE Program provides visiting medical students with a mentored Emergency Medicine clerkship experience designed to support career development, strengthen diversity in academic medicine, and build connections across institutions.

EMED Interest Group

Stanford EMIG supports medical students exploring Emergency Medicine through mentorship, clinical workshops, and connections with EM faculty, residents, and national professional organizations.
