For Stanford Residency Program Applicants

Welcome to the Stanford/Kaiser Residency Program Interview Process! We strive to create an interview experience that enables you to focus on what is most important - making connections, asking questions, exploring the world of Stanford/Kaiser residency, and moving on to the next step - here or at our peer institutions - having gained new ideas and perspective on the incredible field of emergency medicine.

Interview Day & Pre-Interview Socials

Pre-Interview Socials

Our interview socials are a great way to get a sense of our program and meet our greatest assets: our residents. Socials take place on Tuesday evenings (either before or after your interview).

Our Applicant Welcome Committee will send out details on the interview social prior to your interview date. For questions about interview socials, please contact resident Sarabeth Maciey,, who heads the committee.

Location and Parking

Our offices are located at 900 Welch Road, Suite 350., Palo Alto, CA  94304. (See searchable campus map.)

There is parking available outside of the office building; please park near the back of the parking lot. If stopped by the parking attendant please let him know you are attending a meeting in the building.

We are located on the third floor, facing the elevators.  Please note: Stanford is in the process of building the new Stanford Hospital, which may cause traffic delays around the current hospital and medical school. Please factor in a little extra time for driving and parking.
