What you need to do:

1. Register for ALiEMU

  • Make share you register as an “EM Resident” and you chose for Residency Program “California-Stanford University Hospital/Kaiser Permanente Medical Center”

2. Check out the ALiEM Air Series and the ALiEM Air Pro Series

  • These will be the two areas where your modules for the month will be located.

3.Attached is the ALiEM curriculum for the year.  It will coincide with our ABEM 2 year curriculum.

4. Each month you should do the following to prepare for our 30 minute in-person discussion and obtain your asynchronous learning credit.

  • a. Go to that month’s ALiEM module (ex. July in Heme/Onc) and hit “view module”
  • b. Read that modules blog posts/articles
  • c. At the bottom of the readings click “Activate Module” > complete the quizzes for the module and obtain the asynchronous hours associated with the module.  By registering as a Stanford/Kaiser resident the completion of your quiz will automatically be sent to me so that your asynchronous hours can be logged and recorded.

5. Please try to read that months blog posts/articles before coming to the 30 minute in-person discussion during conference.  This way you will benefit the most from the session.
