The MECCP fosters professional growth through mentorship in leadership, research, and career development. Mentoring relationships are built between attending/fellows (career advice, mock oral board review), attending/residents (career advice, rotation advice on CCM tract, mock interview for fellowship), fellows/residents (career advice, fellowship application advice), and MDs/RNs.

- Providing mentorship for junior faculty involvement in obtaining grants, getting involved in hospital administration and becoming an educator in Emergency Medicine Critical Care

EMCCM Elective
Critical Care Triage Shift - Critical Care
Faculty: Tsuyoshi Mitarai
Duration: 1-2 weeks
Available to: R3, R4
Timing: Variable since IM and Anesthesia residents may also be doing the triage rotation, it would require an advance notice and coordination.
Description: Triage MICU fellow shift where a resident goes to all code blues and takes care of ED/floor consults & admission under a supervision of a MICU fellow carrying 48820 phone.
