SHAR(ED) Help Desk coordinates with community partners that assist patients with needs related to Food Assistance and Hunger, Health Access, Housing Aid, Legal Aid, and Public Benefits.

Food Assistance and Hunger

Applying for CalFresh, food bank, or Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Health Access

Finding a primary care physician, dentist or mental health provider. Applying for insurance and obtaining prescription assistance

Housing Aid

Finding a stable place to live; improving home safety, getting rid of mold or pests

Legal Aid

Obtaining legal assistance to help with difficulties in health access, housing and public benefits

Public Benefits

Accessing public benefits such as social security and general assistance. Payments or concerns about utility bills or services, finding job training, etc
