Children should be close to their family at all times. Due to physical constraints of our rooms, we ask that you limit guests to two adults. Siblings may visit briefly, however, longer stays by siblings are discouraged for infection control reasons.
Directions and Parking
The Pediatric Emergency Department is located within the Stanford Emergency Department at Stanford Hospital. Follow the blue “Emergency” signs on campus.
In an emergency, pull up to the entrance of the emergency department. Our security team will assist you. You can leave your car for a limited time in the emergency parking lot.
Valet parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we will validate your ticket when you leave. Metered parking is available in the parking structure at the corner of Campus Drive and Roth Way, across the street from the Emergency Department entrance (after 4 p.m. parking is free). If you have to stay with your child in the Pediatric Emergency Department for an extended period of time, ask your nurse for a complimentary parking pass.
- Market Square Cafeteria- first floor near the Garden Entrance. (Daily 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- Bing Dining Room - third floor of the hospital by the escalators. Reservations recommended. (M-F 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
