Ken Zafren, MD, FACEPAcademic Focus or InterestsI am active in the fields of wilderness and environmental medicine, especially high altitude medicine and physiology, frostbite, hypothermia, medical care in remote areas and mountain rescue. I edit the “Images” section of Wilderness and Environmental Medicine and am the senior author of the chapter: “Environmental Conditions” in the Atlas of Emergency Medicine.
