Rebecca Smith-Coggins, MD

Academic Focus or Interests

My academic activities at Stanford focus on research concerning fatigue/sleep deprivation and its effect on performance in physicians and nurses and medical simulation as an educational and evaluative tool.

My efforts outside of Stanford are centered on duties at the American Board of Emergency Medicine including an appointment as a member of the Residency Review Committee for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

I also serve as an associate editor for Micromedex, Inc.
