Phillip M. Harter, M.D.

Academic Focus or Interests

My areas of academic interest are in education and technology. I am currently exploring the use of various simulation techniques, including human patient simulators, part-task trainers, and virtual reality in the medical education of students and residents. I am a consultant on a grant that compares virtual reality training to human patient simulators in teaching team work skills and crisis resource management.
