Keynote Speaker: Carlos Camargo, MD, DrPH, FACEP

Dr. Camargo is Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Conn Chair in Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. His research focuses on respiratory/allergy emergencies and health policy issues in emergency care.

Highlights of the meeting:

Diversity in academic emergency medicine panel discussion led by Dr. S.V. Mahadevan

Research presentations and panel session on research funding for early stage investigators

Concurrent session for medical students

Lunch with women leaders in academic emergency medicine ( A session by Academy for Women in Academic Emergency Medicine)

SimWars Registration Due: 4/6/17

UltraSIM Wars Registration: 
We are excited to announce a combination ultrasound and simulation competition open to residents and medical students at this year's SAEM Western regional conference, hosted by Stanford. This will be a multi-round event that is open to all residency programs. The competition will highlight core emergency medicine curriculum, with a special emphasis on point-of-care ultrasound.
