Professional Development

Faculty Development

It is the mission of the Stanford University Emergency Medicine Faculty to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art patient care; to commit to academic excellence in teaching and research, and to be leaders in the specialty of emergency medicine. We will work towards our mission in an environment that fosters personal and professional pride, satisfaction and growth.

The Faculty Development Program at Stanford University Department of Emergency Medicine works to support and assist our faculty members in achieving this mission statement.  Monthly programming provides continuing education, resources, and growth opportunities related to our mission as clinicians, academicians, educators, and colleagues.  Faculty provide feedback and suggestions for new content and the program is tailored to the current needs of the faculty.
